I am too old to fool people!

I know that shouldnt be funny.....
If the mass of population would pull their collective head out of their collective ass and practice just a little less selfishness / narcissism (I only used that word to see if I could spell it)
and a little more common sense (one of them most wrongly named terms ever), you would indeed have many more slow days.

But dont worry, humanity is as nuts as ever, or more so even.

Willie knows how to rock a relic'd guitar!!!

I have a bunch of old well loved guitars. They do looked played but far from beat. I am putting nickel covers on my Gibson Studio because I never did like the shiny chrome covers. I'm not trying to make it look like something it is not. Just something more to my taste, I'm not a very shiny man.

Your personality comes across with Bling!;)

I wish I had a picture of it, but when I think of "relic" I think of my first Les Paul. A '77 Custom that I got new, and played for about 22 years before selling it. There was vitrually no paint left on the back of the neck, and the rest of the poor thing looked like it had been through a tough fight. But...it still looked better than the majority of these relic jobs on new guitars. Just doesn't make any sense to me.

Speaking of reliced guitars I think they look pretty cool if they are done right. It's just another look like having a custom paint job on your axe...it gives your guitar some MoJo. I just don't like the over-inflated price of some reliced guitars like Fender or Gibson charges. My trusty old Gibson SG Special has a few battle scars on it from a broken neck by the head stock which got repaired for $200. I also dropped it a few times and scrapped the body which I touched up with some black paint. There is also a chip on the backside of my head stock which I also touched up. It also has developed some nice checking on the body after all these years since I bought it back in 1991. You can say it's been naturally reliced.;)

I really dig your Flying V and is your fret board ebony? I also like the Stetsbar vibrato unit on your V...looks really cool and functional. Your should install another one on your SG Don...you bastard!(y)

Thanks Black!
Take a closer look at my avatar these days:D that’s the first one I put a Stetsbar on.

And yes, the V is a crescent moon, ebony board.
