I am happier than a pig in...

I like the fade! Congratulations! I hope it works well for you!

Will see it's not in my nature to buy bottom of the line guitars. What can I say the Koran made Floyd Rose is garbage as with the tuners
so they will get replaced other than that I love the roasted maple neck plays well and sounds good I'm surprised to be honest.

I did buy the USA Wolfgang with the kill switch never played it a friend wanted bad

When I would turn down the volume pot, there would be only a very slight difference from 10 to 2, then a huge drop off from 2 to 0. Also, the sound would darken up substantially when I turned the volume knob down. Even though I have it wired "50's style".
Sounds like my two Burnys, but I have the ketchup effect on the tone pots instead. Virtually no change until they hit 2, then all of it between 2 and 0. Maybe I should do the same..?

Every Gibson/Gibson style guitar I have ever owned had this issue. Come to find out, Gibson uses linear taper pots. The tone pot is the same on my LTD, but I have found I kinda like that. I can get very subtle high end roll off. It sucked for the volume knob, but is kind of useful (to me) on the tone pot. I know that some players prefer a linear taper pot on the tone control, and I can see why.

But yeah, if you want a more "natural" taper on your tone pot, an audio taper pot will do it.
