UPDATE:
Finally talked with my daughter, cell service is intermittent, they have no water or electric service . Their bottled water supply is running low. They ran out of gas for the generator Tuesday, so no air conditioning, her husband went out to look for gas Wednesday and was gone over six hours, most of the gas stations were closed, out of gas, or leveled, he did manage to buy a five gallon container from some guy selling it from his van, cost him fifty bucks.......Some people are just assholes. Their garage was leveled, the winds took out sections of their roof and took the side screen door totally off, porch and front window awnings are gone.
I called FEMA and was able to get them some tarps to cove holes in the roof, they are in place today, she said trees and debris are everywhere and a lot of the street are flooded. She is an absolute mess, she went through Katrina and suffers from PTSD which has kicked in full gear. They lost everything during Katrina, house, belongings and one of her cats/
I may start a Go Fund Me account for them. She said it is a total mess down there. She sent me two pics.
