How do I get rid of the migraine inducing animated falling leaves?

3.11, 95, NT, 98, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 and 11 is out but I don't have that yet.

I still have the Win 98 Beta disk.

DAYUM, I've been doin this computer thing for a while. No wonder I feel so old.
Our first computer was a Tandy 1000 with an 8086 processor. Installed a 20mb hard drive and thought I’d died and gone to heaven. Speaking of a long time ago.

Hey @Don O,

I'm just resizing to 40%...
I’m using Image Size, a freebie app. But I thought Grant had put the resizer on line so larger files could be uploaded directly and resized by the server software, but I’m now guessing it’s not ready for prime time yet.

I won't even bring up the TRS80.

The very first computer I ever touched used punch cards
In 1981, right before the IBM PC came out, we launched an integrated Voice Recognition workstation based on the Zenith Z-89 desktop computer. Was 8080 based running CP/M. I did all the voice recognition software in assembly language and did the board hardware design. The company paid to get it on the cover of EDN magazine.

Yeah, I'm a hoarder too. I've got 3.11 on floppies and DOS somewhere in boxes hiding under a pile of dust. Still have an old 90Mhz Pentium box with a 14.4 modem and whopping 8Mb ram and 540 Mb HDD.

Ahh the good old days!
I still have a bunch of floppies.
Akai S1000 sampler - all the backup sounds on floppy.
A load of Visio drawings...

I used to write all the test machine programs on floppy.
Up until just recently...
There was 10 cable testing machines, all running on floppy.
I replaced floppy drives with re-furbished floppy drives. You can still buy drives...o_O
I was using DOS 3.2 ! (even me, computer idiot used DOS)

A lot of industrial machines still have floppy programs.
And so, it's not really dead afterall. There is still floppys running out there in the machine o verse.

I first delved into computers in the 80's. I had an 8088 processor, no hard drive, had to load DOS from a 5.25 floppy. Windows did not exist...built every one on my computers from that day on.

My first really good PC had a 286 processor and a 20MB Hard Drive! I thought that HDD was HUGE!

I built my second computer out of trash cans.
I collected all the parts from dumpsters. I think it was an 8086.
The OS was definitely floppy installed.
It took about 15 minutes to open a word file....I do remember how slow it was.

My first computer was digicomp 1.
It was programmed by soda straws, and it was hand operated by rubber bands.
Well it would only count in binary, but was fun and confusing at the same time..
