Had a bit of time to experiment with the attenuator this morning. It is definitely not the same at bedroom levels as gig levels. I didn't expect it to be. It is however very good and much better than without it. You get power tube breakup no problem and it sounds great. You don't get a lot of air moving from the speaker and your ears react differently to quiet sounds than loud sounds so it's not like playing live. I can't really hear any loss of treble but my hearing in the treble range is pretty bad so I'm not the best judge. So far it is everything I expected. Very happy with it. Can't wait to try it live.
