I know he passed away a while back but not too many know of one of his greatest works... The end credits theme for Twister. It's actually one of the most beautiful pieces of music along with the timelaspe... It starts with Mark Mancinas orchestral piece transitioning into VH... One of the most beautiful things made in our time, Enjoy!!

Seen this movie a dozen plus times. Never knew EVH had anything to do with the soundtrack. Pretty cool.

Our band played this song when I got the Eventide Micropitch with the Peavey guitar
and got a great audience response.

Not everyone in the band can be a virtuoso. Michael Anthony was incredible filling in those mid-high temp rhythms on bass!

Ed said early on, he needed a bass player that stuck to the root note.. thus allowing Ed to play the way he did.

It seemed that when he worked with real professionals (like Sammy Hagar) he just gets into a lot of arguments, and the albums and shows never get done.
Then when he works with flakes, the show is right back on the road.

I see this as being the obstacle. Seems like half the work he could have done was just lost to BS and never got off the ground.
And that was the real shame of it.
