Forgive me my indulgences, but as I have said before, my tastes in music range from the formative artists who began this thing called Rock n Roll, to their influences, the blues men and women, to classical music, Bluegrass, Motown, Metal of all styles, to jam bands and beyond.
BUT, it was not always so, and wound up being a compilation of musical journeys made up of the above styles.
Having said that, the band Chicago, was not a go to for me by any means. However, I did like a song or 2 if they came on the radio or at friends' parties, especially like when I got to slow dance with a sweet girl from school.
Now for the Holy Ship part. This song was THE Chicago song for me. Now with Youtube, I can actually see the to soon departed Terry Kath as the monster player he was. RIP Terry
Thank you to the cameraman for not blowing it on this clip. Thanks for capturing Terry's performance here and for not wandering off into views of the audience, the ceiling, or other players who would decrease the showcasing of Terry's effort here.
