Truly incredible; the boy is certainly blessed with talent.
And some great gear. And lots of time.
Not to be dismissive; I know lots of focused practice and discipline is what it take for all of us to improve.

But some people certainly progress faster than others and all kidding aside groddammit I feel really frustrated right now.

On the bright side, that cheapy guitar I found in the trash plays really well, sounds pretty good, and stays in tune.

Wait until the kid gets laid or has his heart broken. He’s gonna experience a whole other level of expressions to make on the guitar.

I can relate to 11 year old Taj. My father put me through a similar program private lessons 2 hours 3 times per week
practice 8 hours per day but I started at age 4. My grandfather did the same with my dad 10 years in my father was world class.
What kills me is how Taj bends strings with all his fingers only playing guitar three years. I hope he keeps up with it.

I’m thinking he is too young to have learned what not to do, or you shouldn’t do. He just does it.
