Hollow Body Shielding

As some of you may already know, I'm working on a semi-hollow body project. All of my other guitars I have shielded with copper tape, but they have all been solid bodies. Has anyone hear ever encounter a hum with a hollow body or semi-hollow body guitar? If so, how did you resolve the hum problem?

Depending on the pickups used, some "white noise" is normal, but it should be ever so slight. MOST hum/buzz issues with Humbuckers are a ground/wiring/solder joint issue...except for the brand new, shorted 490's in my 2016 Gibson SG...
