Looks like some of our tastes are different. I prefer thinner necks and smaller radii but don't really have a preference on frets. Most of my guitars have XJ but I have had my share of reissues with small wire. Also most of my guitars are 25.5 but I do love a nice 24.75 as well. Variety is the spice of life in my book. My go to guitars over the past 20 or so years have been....

1. The ESP M2/KH series
2. Fender 62 AVRI strat
3. Gibson Les Paul Classic
4. Pretty much any double cutaway model Tom Anderson

I know what I like, and also enjoy variety. At least 75% of my collection falls into the above groups or close enough.

I will be interested to see the destroyer. My first memory of one was the one EVH hacked the poop out of and Paul Stanley of course. In the 90's J Yeunger of White Zombie had a green one with stars that was pretty sick as well.

Nice list, Man. I played a 1987 Squire Stratocaster from 1988 until 2005 - when I switched to a Schecter C1 Hellraiser. Good guitars, but didn't know any better.

Here is an original DT555 Destroyer II modified with a Floyd Rose. This is a collector's item that was studied and measured for the creation of my replica. I was fortunate to obtain copies of the original plans from a former Ibanez luthier.

Here is the current state of my Destroyer II replica.

oWell I don't know why everything seems to turn into a Gibson hate thing lately. I don't even know why this all of a sudden turned into an Ad for Robert's guitar in directly. Robert truthfully you obviously have more experience than I do at guitar. I have bought more Gibson's in my meander life it seems though and really haven't found a bad one and every single one I ordered online. The one's I flipped were perfectly fine and to forum members thru most of the sites for a few years. NEVER ONE COMPLAINT. Truthfully Robert you act like your changing the way guitar is played and your guitar is so much better than anything that will be on the market from anyone. Also with the way you portray yourself "Mr. Guitar" one would think you would be as big as Eddie/The Rev./Angus/Jimmy Page & Hendrix just to name a few guys who have gotten along with Gibson just fine for a very long time. I haven't seen one request here for your guitar yet you keep throwing it in everyone's face like we are not worthy of your basically unoriginal guitar while you slam everything not Schecter or your design. Oh and your women had to finance the project? Man up! I also am a collector of other things and have been on many forums thru my 46 years and congradulations.....you are the 1st person I have ever blocked.

Everyone has an opinion and you are entitled to that, but you totally missed the point of my post...and that's ok. I won't be losing any sleep over your negativity...or anyone elses. You are wise to block those with whom you disagree....it saves keystrokes.

Adrian, is that a "notch" on the upper and lower cutouts??? I really like this. The neck in my is fantastic. I'm not a reverse headstock fan, but the design looks good. I see triple humbuckers in there!

Those where a Signature Model of Adrian Vandenbergs
--they are rather rare if you can find one

yeah they where rather nice ........and like I say limited.....probably one of the more expensive used Peaveys out there.

White guitars don't often do it for me, but I gotta admit that looks freaking great, really good. Cheers

RH, I found a pic of the J. Yuenger Destroyer I referenced earlier...

It was apparently in production from '96ish-'99ish.
