HOWEVER it is a VERY nice 05 Peavey Predator EXP --PLUS---

IT is a deep rich cherry red......black decent enough hardware--- great 1 piece MAPLE neck with rosewood fretboard slim profile (very "shredder-ish") it is heavy --- way heavier than say a strat ---or even the Jackson........Bound Body......

no strings...........

but it does have................. A FLOYD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First question......do I slap some regular D'Addario XL's on it.....OR as I will be IN Orlando AT GEorges Music tomorrow (in-between appointments--and POSSIBLY with a special TTR "guest" opium den lurker) do I wait--- and GET some (asking for suggestions) real shreddish FLOYD type EB SUper MEtal Slinketrons or POWER Slinies--- or GHS Boomers???? S.I.T. is what I used back in the day ---- cause I lived in Ohio--- they are MADE in OHIO and they where CHEAP ---- I could order some I guess........

WHATS A GOOD METAL SHRED STRING gang????

Nice looking guitar, congrats. I just use the EB slinky's, 9-42's on my Jackson. Only guitar that hasn't got 10-46. so when I bulk buy the 10-46's (EB) from the music store just a few miles up the road they usually throw a single 9-42 pack in so that's probably the only reason I changed from the d'addario's it came with. That rant doesn't help much does it. Cheers

Thank you Bocc69

Please everyone use the pole I took all of 8 seconds to create (buwahahahahahahah) ----Gives me a feeling of accomplishment and all. ;)

That's funny! I made a maple wedge very much like his, to do maintenance on my N2s. Way back in 1995...I think it's still tucked in one of the drawers of one of my workbenches. I used it whenever I wanted to do a full string change/fretboard wash. His method was not much different to the way that I used to get it done. It worked well enough, and was the fastest way I could figure to do a tune up. I didn't like the pencil/pop sickle method.

For string changes & cleaning the board I have a large ish block of pencil eraser that I slip into the recess under the trem (depress bar to slip it in). Its just shy of the right size but slightly loosening the strings locks it in & keeps the trem "almost" level. Here's another handy little item for Floyd tremsC__Data_Users_DefApps_AppData_INTERNETEXPLORER_Temp_Saved Images_LT-0868-000-web.jpg C__Data_Users_DefApps_AppData_INTERNETEXPLORER_Temp_Saved Images_LT-0868-000-web-4.jpg
Called "the key" to help with properly intonating. Allparts part No. LT-0868-000. Cheers
