well since COl.s new guitar post and "temperature seasoning" question let the cat out of the bag ...... here it is officially

yes it looks like a PRS
yes it smells like mahogany
yes the top is stellar and pics do not do it just
yes it plays and sounds great out of the box -- though -- i did take the liberty to oil the fretboard ... and set it up to MY liking
tuners work very smooth/well and are holding tune--
bridge is functional
pots are smooth -- split coil works
3 way switch works
frets are STAINLESS STEEL and very nice to the touch no sharp ends
nuts cut well enough
the abalone HB inlay on the headstock is well done
the neck is thin fast and very PRS radious -ish
and NEW .... delivered to my door with a warranty-- and a cool green decal --- it was LESS than I could buy a USED PRS SE model

I must say the THOMANN customer service was EXCELLENT -- (I actually MESSED up and didnt catch my THomann acct. had not been used it so long it had my OLD Alabama shipping info !!!
so 3 hours AFTER purchase I frantically went on the "chat" function (I couldnt CALL Germany at that hour) and within a few minutes ALL WAS WELL and corrected.
Guitar arrived in 4 days !!! from the OTHER side of the WORLD (so cool)
now the TRUTH ..................................
it had some "schmutz" or over spray in the "F" hole similar to the video above (you didnt watch the video did you ??? shame.......................)
anyway
that -- was the ONLY negative ....... thats it ..... and -- when I oiled the FB today -- I took a scotchbright and after 2 minutes the "rough" gunk left in the "F" hole binding was gone................................
this gutiar (for scope) cost about the same as a set of new PRS USA pickups .......
IS IT AS GOOD AS A PRS ... well .......... not really ..... but at a $1700.00 price delta ..... it scratches the "PRS" itch ........ for very little... scratch
