All of my guitars have my pickups in them except my honey burst LP Classic which has SD Antiquities. I like those for the vintage tone and looks, so they are staying. Still deciding what to make for the Jackson's neck pickup. Leaning towards an A5 with mid 8k resistance. After that I will make sets for the incoming SG MODERN and Les Paul Modern.

I've owned dozens of inexpensive Jacksons over the years.... For the money, they just can't be beat.

I finished and potted the neck pickup last night. It's an A5 magnet wound to 8.0k with 42 awg wire. Time to put it in.

All wired in. All electronics have now been replaced other than the switch, output jack and a few wires.

I think it's finished now. The trem tip turned back to purple from more of a brown after 24 hours. It sounds really good.
