Hilo'caster? er... Tele'tron?

Oh, whatever... it's a Tele with a Gretsch Hilo'tron in the neck position. I'm liking it!

As I have a good number of Teles, I like to create some new and different pickup combinations in many of them... this is my latest "concoction".

It's a 2014 Fender American Standard in Jade Pearl finish, with a 2018 Fender American Professional rosewood neck. Cavalier 51/52 bridge pickup.

Yes indeed... Switchcraft toggle switch, as commonly found on many non-Fender guitars.

(I'm not a big fan of the rotary switch. Nearly all of my Teles have the toggle switch.)

I hate Fender style switches. i got a toggle switch on my Tele. Course i made a Esquire out of it and all the switch is a tone cut.

Yeah... I MUCH prefer the quick, short-throw of the Switchcraft toggle switch. All of my Teles get that switch!

I'd like to see that bridge plate extended to the heel and filled up with triple humbuckers....
