I don't think I'd do well in the desert.

Well....it's hot in the summer and cold during the winter. Both extremes.
Most of the rest of the year is reasonably comfortable though. Not much around to look at unless you love agriculture lol

But a couple hours worth of travel in almost any direction will generally bring a pretty big change in the scenery.

Yep. Moose happened to stroll through bro in laws small town while we were there. The rest were her n there, the blue Heron is from a trip to Victoria BC.

Aw gosh.... thanks. Been doing photography like 35 years. Worked 25 years in a camera store too. Glad some of it rubbed off on me! Our cat is my favorite victim!
