Define cheap please. Your meaning of the word scares me! However, on occasion it has helped me, oh Guru of the Deal!!
 
seriously I do................did you see the Viola bass I purchased.......last week........ ugh.....
 
i try to talk sence into ya all the time but to no avail.but hey,i like the Viola Bass,got one myself

If you take them in like strays or a rescue you are doing a positive community service.
You get to enjoy some time with them and then help them find a good home.
I would nominate you Redneckistan Man of the Year Award up here in our chapter but its more a local thing.

If I could become a good flipper I would do more horse trading but I'm buy and hold and hug and squeeze kind of guy.

Yeah, me too. I like to find guitars in need of some TLC, then I spoil them with fancy innards and shiny new hardware. Once they are completed I ignore them and move on to the next project. When I get the urge to sell one, I pick it up, play it and fall in love all over again.
 
I had at least 5 come in and seven go out in a three week period last month...three incoming right now...
