Hey there!

Howdy and welcome -- How are things in Seattle-- spent a few days there -- LOVED the place -- (but I was told they were the three sunniest driest days of the that year...........lol)
the PNW vibe is funky ;)
I'm not native to here, but I think Seattle-ites maintain the myth of constant rain to discourage more transplants (like me) because the traffic is horrible and the price of housing has been soaring. The reality is that locals are more than willing to suffer through 8 months of wet weather for the summer payoff: 4 months of sunny weather in the mid 70's...paradise on Earth imo. I grew up in TX and had no problem playing in 100 degree heat all day long during summer vacations, but now I've completely de-acclimated. I wilt like a flower when I visit my parents now.

Welcome Triple.v. Howdy from your southern neighbor. Im on the Oregon side of the river not far from Longview Wa.
Oh, so you probably get your share of visitors from WA to take advantage of OR's lack of sales tax. Lots of flat screen TVs and refrigerators crossing the border haha. Still can't get used to someone else pumping my gas!

edit: and the Oregon coast is another PNW local secret!

53 inches is our annual average
---google say Costa Mesa sees......................12 inches a year---- GOOD LAWD my gills would dry up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I moved her from Mobile al. ---which sees 66 inches on average

and them folks in Seattle "think" they get rain ............................BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA uhm -- no.
