I've yet to work out if they're a fake glam rock band or actually are "proper"; I always lean towards the former, but some folks tell me the latter???

I will have to listen later, as the music obviously comes first.
I dig the showmanship of costumes, stage show experience too.
("paging Mr. Cooper, paging Mr. Alice Cooper"), KISS, etc.

I much prefer watching video of guitar band chicks over dudes that kind of look like chicks too.
"Chicks"; how sexist of me. I'm an old guy from another cultural time from a past century.
Sounds pretty trippy that way, no?

Joan Jett always struck me as more of a dude - the attitude I mean.
That was before I learned we have much in common: we both dig chicks.
