Here's what $13K will get ya..

Come on people you missed the biggest WTF. 13K for a guitar with a NYLON nut. REALLY??? They cant put a bone nut on for 13K?????

The originals had nylon, so accurate/semi-accurate reissues have nylon. A lot of people think its a much better nut material than bone but it fell out of favor simply because it is very difficult to work.

I probably would have bought one of these if they had the original 25.5" scale. Not much of a fan of the script logo but I coulda learned to live with that, but changing the scale fundamentally changed the vibe of the guitar IMO.

I also noticed aluminum bridge and tailpiece and a Gibson active humbucker...

Slash Net Worth | TheRichest

He is still a nobody to me 32 million. My girl friend has a net worth more than Slash in her house alone. I was wrong Slash had a 11 year run of fame.
My father in law is a multi billionaire so what good friends are worth more than any amount of money.

Robert news flash the 6 speed manual transmission 2018-2019 are blowing up they are on a 3-4 month back order on the Ford Mustangs its the aluminum shift forks failing now the 2020 Shelby's
will be automatic transmission only. I'm happy I turned down the Bullitt Mustang

The aluminum forks have been a problem for Tremec for a while now. The Ford's use a Tremec gearbox. They will get it fixed...

I've never owned - and will never buy - a car with an automatic or SMG.

I got a BONE I can put on it !!! BUWAHAHAHHAHAHA

May be harder to work but I believe they sound better. With todays tools that are available, bone is not that hard to work.

Seems they switched to bone for that simple reason: it's easier to shape and fit than the nylon. Gotta cut production costs, right?

I've played guitars with nylon nuts but without literally A/B-ing the same guitar with both nut materials it seems pretty impossible to say one sounds "better" than the other. Purely subjective anyway. I think they use nylon on the reissues only because that's what '50's Les Pauls had on them not because they think it sounds better..

I thought Slash played MAX guitars what did he have three years of fame now hes a nobody
Yes, he had at least one MAX, which I don't think he was able to keep. Common misconception is that he used the Derrig for the bulk of AFD when it was actually a Mockingbird & a Jackson that he owned & a rented Gibson SG (that was used for the bulk of it). The Derrig & the MAX were loaners that were used towards the completion of the recording for fills only.
If I was going to be into anyone from G&R it'd be Izzy, he"s the one that came up with the bulk of songs rhythm guitar parts. Probably why slash hasnt done so well without him. Cheers

Didn’t the SG end up through the windshield of a van?

I recall a lot of vintage Gibson's that used nylon saddles too...

I think he is supposed to at least own a 1958 burst. Serial number 8 3096, one of the first two cherry sunburst Les Pauls ever. Other than that, I have no idea.

I'm guessing he owns whatever he wants to own. He's had a least a couple '58's, a couple '59's (one that he returned to Joe Perry as a birthday gift) and pretty much everything out there that he has been interested in over the years.
