HERATICH!

Actually--- about everything he says rings rather accurate.....he could make his bed before he does a video------I mean maybe his mother didnt tell him too?

ALso-- I HEARTILY DISAGREE with the "sucktastic" Firebird Zero--- IMHO its one of the few things GIBBLOW has done RIGHT in awhile!

FYI --- before Donp corrects me I realize the title is misspelled---its on purpose--to emphasise the heresy.......

Well, on the business end of things, Henry J seems like a tool and apparently all these weird decisions like the 2015 models and robot guitars and other goofiness that nobody wanted came from him. I don't like that.

But, all the Gibson guitars I have bought in the last 4 years or so have been fantastic. No complaints about quality, playability or tone. I personally think they have been knocking it out of the park the last two years in fact. All my 2016 and 2017 Gibbos are perfect.

But (and you knew there was a but coming) I am not planning any more purchases of new guitars, so I guess it doesn't make much difference to me. I have what I want, and I will probably stick to used if I end up feeling the itch.

Are you sure you meant to do that? You know, you can edit the title (trust me, I know about edits).

Go ahead...you know you want to.

I have a 2016 SG 'T' Series that is a great guitar with a cloth harness and aftermarket pickups. I like it. Other than that, I have everything custom built now.

There are certain guitars that are built so well from the ground up that I know I will never be able to mod or refinish any guitar that gets in its league. Gibson is not one of them. When I go back to my Tom Andersons and PRS, I now understand better than ever why I spent the extra $$, and I may do it again some day. As between those two, my personal tastes give Anderson the edge.

I think that Gibson can easily recover if they want to. All they need to do is get back to basics. IMHO, this will not happen with Henry at the helm.

I've been a Gibson player since 1964 but
the 4 most recent guitars I acquired were
an EBMM, 2 PRS Miras and another EBMM.

Getting myself back to the OP, I think the video was pretty balanced. He didn't come out with some snarling, Gibson-bashing rant. He gave credit where he felt credit was due, yet was forthright with the negatives.

I'll have to watch this guy more.

Smitty tell him to clean his room. Or get a background that puts him in a studio or Warehouse :)

If they blow out those Firebird Zeros like they did those M2 - basically the same build components - for $249 or less I'm getting one.

I dont consider the Firebird Zero a Firebird at all anyway.
It is an offset waist guitar in that family.

I F YOU SEE FIREBIRD ZEROS FOR 250.00 YOU BETTER FREAKING TELL ME -- because I WANT ONE

yes been watching those----waiting for a open box special or stupid deal of the day lol
