HELP ME! I think I am done modding my main guitar!

Wonderful guitar and beautiful grain! But as long as we are on the topic of mods....would you consider doweling the bridge holes and using this cherry colored lacquer touch up pen to blend it?

Actually, if I ever were to install a Vibrola on this guitar, I would go the whole hog and have it properly done by a pro. But that would easily cost me as much as buying a guitar with a Vibrola to begin with, so it's very unlikely I'll do it.

If you mean the small holes left by the screws for the faux Lyre tailpiece, then maybe. Now, where can I find some mahogany toothpicks? :)

Yes the small screw holes. Here are some mahogany dowels that you can shape to size. Then use the cherry lacquer pen. That should keep you busy!!

Looks Great; I agree the only thing to do is fill the screw holes.

I have a rekindled SG love.
I always loved the cool SG type look.
I found a couple of years ago when I got one, it just never felt comfortable to me.
EPI G400, very nice and well made, good player out of the box.

My son started playing and had been using it since.
He has lost interest, so I gave it another go.
I'm digging it now.

Last night after reading thru this thread.... couldn’t stand it. Had to plug in my G400 and do me some Neil Young. It was fun.

YAY, JT, Crazy thing about SG's, they can take on so many styles as can be witnessed by some Famous Artists we know, plus various players demonstrating the way they make them sound good.

My '76 is very similar to this guitar but in a Cream Color white.

That's a very special SG you got now, and it looks beautiful... :celebrate:

Bridge with nylon saddles:
Do you notice any differences while playing?
Did the "G"-string reach proper intonation where the saddle is, in the pic?
Intonation is spot on, although there isn’t much left to go on with the G-string. I can’t say I noticed much of a difference, to be honest.
