I'm testing some pickups in the Signature T right now, but I plan on winding a specific set for it next week. This came stock with uncovered 57 Classic and Classic + in it and I have been running it with gold covers. I will be putting cream trim rings back on. I'm thinking I want to go back to the stock uncovered look. I have gold slugs and screws coming for the bobbins.

Should I go all black, all cream, Zebra or covered? What do you all think?

Gold covers with black rings for me.
But uncoverd zebra would look quite nice as well.

That makes it easy. I don't have to make new pickups. I'll just change the pole screws to gold and add gold covers to the ones I'm testing. Those cream trim rings are the historic spec tall ones. I like them.

Here's an almost clean video with the CB3 pickups in Whitey. I put the trim rings and gold covers on last night. I have the channels jumpered on the 50 watt lead with the channels pretty balanced and the 412 is loaded with Vintage 30s. So if it seems too dark or midrangey it is easily dealt with.
