Help les paul folks

I have not played a Sire but they look great on paper and I have heard Larry Carlton praise them massively in interviews. If possible to play both that's obviously the best way to go, but if not make sure whichever one you get is from a place like Sweetwater where you got the pics so its an easy return if something isn't right.

Currently, the Epi is $200 more (new). A couple years ago, our local guitar shop started selling Gibsons and Epiphones. I didn’t plug the Epi in, but I did strum it a few times, and acoustically it did sound very lively. Fit and finish was excellent. BTW, it was a white one too! It looked stunning. No experience with a Sire though.

I've owned half a dozen epi Les Pauls , never heard of the other one.

Of my epi LPs, 1 was junk, most were really good, 1 was outstanding. So kind of hit and miss, as it is with most guitar brands. I have always swapped pickups out. I love the Epiphone brand, my favorite guitar of all time is still an Epiphone.

I would not hesitate to get an epi.
And that white tuxedo is stunning!
If you stick a Seymour Duncan TB6 in the bridge it will sound absolutely glorious!
