Hello! Thanks for the lovely welcome messages. This is my first time joining a forum of this kind.

I came across the site while researching bigsby palm pedals and similar mechanisms.

I found this thread and thought I'd sign up.

I'm looking to pick up a bigsby bp-12 or something similar.

Anybody have any experience with the bp 12/ bp 15 or other similar mechanisms? The hipshot used by Mule Resophonics looks pretty nice too (
) but I don't know if I could fit it on my hollow body.

Here's my current set up below (my board doesn't usually look this way but I'm messing around with it at the minute).

Epiphone Sorrento reissue from '97 to a Fender Blues Jr.

I also play a Yamaha steel string and my Da's old nylon string from the 60s.

Welcome. I've been trying to help a friend mount one of those, up until the virus hit us here. Take note of the ashtray, and how it is milled away. The instructions say to drill holes, and insert plastic tubes for the strings to pass through. My friend bought a six saddle bridge instead of the traditional three saddle bridge. It won't work as the strings need to pass where the adjusters are. So, for best intonation, get some compensated saddles, and either try to mill away part of the ashtray, or drill holes and use the supplied tubing. He now has to save up for a different tray and saddle configuration, and wait for things to get a bit more normal again.
