Yeah, torn tendons suck! Recovering from tendon-repair surgery double sucks!! But the final post recovery results will all be worth it...

Those pain meds, used properly over a short time period can help you sleep and rest comfortably - both important factors in you healing and overall condition.

I'm trying plain Ibuprofen first. If I have to take the hydrocodone it will be very limited. I just hate opioids!

for both of my knee replacements, and my shoulder replacement, I would only take 1 800mg ibuprofen with 500mg of Tylenol.
If you ask the DR should give you a Rx for the Ibuprofen.
That combination worked really well for me.

The physical therapy is most important for a positive recovery. I've been through three painful tears myself and it's been the PT that got me back to normal. Keep your spirit up!

I'm doing okay Ray. Still quite a bit of pain and it's a bitch to try and sleep all bandaged up. I have to sleep on my back and I never do that...rough.

Have yet to take one...I can deal with the pain using OTC.

It does. You probably want a straw to keep from over taxing the shoulder.
