ya well some of those 38 spl have a lot light frame than the 357 Mags do. I think the old 38s like the Rugers or Smiths you might get away with that but i still wouldnt do it.

I know .38 spl will chamber / is acceptable in a .357 (I've put thousands through a S&W M28)
I've been out of the shooting sports over 20 years and do miss it a lot.
I dont recall specifically, but dont think ,the longer .357 cartridge will chamber in a .38 come to think of it, unless the bullet nose is shaved down.
It did occur to me it could be a hot .38spl +P round, etc.

Ever try try to shoot your self with Smith&Wesson Military and Police revolver when you sailed the Cape Horn? I can only say I came close. I dropped the box of shells over board. I carry a 38 snub nose and I'm not about to try killing my self with that little turd. I might be clumsy but I'm not crazy. I put the suicide note in with my collection under failed attempts. After all these years it still smells like the sea.
I thought this was about guitar bridges? Did I ever get side tracked.

Here's my fix for wraparound bridge tilt. Carefully measured height and shimmed it accordingly.
