Reamed TOM bridge holes so that it fit the post-to-post spacing? Other than me that is! I have not tried it yet. It is for the Husk build. It will do until I find an import Nashville bridge with 74.5mm spacing
 
Matter of fact ive bored out a gibson TOM to fit a Epi. put it in the ol drill press at the paper mill i used to work at. i took a counter sink bit and put a bevel on it first.worked like a charm.

A Gotoh dropped right on the studs of my US made SG . I've read that all the tonepros stuff is rebranded Gotoh drilled and tapped for the locking function, so they should be the same, but $20 at Guitar Parts - Bridges, Gotoh | Antique Electronic Supply.

Nice! The diagram says that it is 74mm spacing, which will work perfect. I think I owe Johnny Goo a retraction in the post above, who also suggested Gotoh, but my seach yeilded a bridge with dirfferent specs. Thank you both!

FYI - The drilled out bridge seems to be working well too.
 
Ive never measured nothing on the bridges or tailpieces.ive either bought a metric large hole TOM or a American Gibson style ones. now let me tell ya there not all exactly the same cause ive used,bought,or tried alot of them. Now as far as metric or standard tailpieces go.most metric tailpiece studs have a bigger diameter where the tailpiece slides on. so ya you can use so called metric tailpieces on Gibsons but usually they wont fit the opposite.kinda like you can shoot 38s in a 357 mag but not the opposite.
 
And ya if ya look at the Gotoh and Tonepros stuff there exactly the same. ive used tonepros and its good stuff i just dont like those lock down set screws on them and i just toss them.Plus they charge ya 3 times as much for those set screws.

Lots of variations on bridge post stud centering, even on Gibson's, which leads me to believe they are not drilled with a jig at the factory, but rather laid out and drilled by hand.

The spacing is different for the standard Nashville and Gibson ABR bridges - I think it's 2-30/32" for Nashville and 2-29/32" for the ABR-1.

However, there's usually enough "wobble" in the Nashville posts that an ABR can go in IF the holes are big enough for the posts, since it's only 1/32" difference...
 
Yep , you got it. There all close to there specs but slight differences abound. Now wrap around bridges are a different animal too.You will need to use the tailpiece studs that came with the wrap around cause if you dont you get to much tilt ect.
