Happy Thanksgiving!

I had a wonderful day with family yesterday. I ate turkey, bacon and ham. Also had brussel sprouts, but no carbs. No mashies, no mac and cheese, no bread. All of those carbs shoot my glucose off the chart. I can eat keto bread in limitation however last night I pigged out on some great meat and veggies whilst maintaining my blood sugar level. A wonderful day indeed!

We’ve gone “non-traditional” now for several years. This year I grilled a beef tenderloin. Mrs. IbLive did some stuffing, scallop corn, HM applesauce and a pumpkin pie. Nice red wine from our favorite Finger Lakes NY winery.

You can’t really tell in the photo. But tenderloin came out a perfect medium rare.

Tonight….. leftovers. Yum.
