I know its a day early, but I may not be logging in for the next day or so.

For those of you who celebrate (mainly the U.S.)
I wish you and your families a healthy, safe, and bountiful Thanksgiving.

For those of you who do not know what Thanksgiving is ...
It marks the start of our Holiday season. Its a day where we Americans get together with family and friends give thanks and celebrate! We celebrate by taking food and stuffing it with more food. Then eating and drinking until we stretch the limits of the elastic waist band stretchy pants and slipping into a food induced coma while watching (american) Football. Only to wake up again, wipe the drool from our mouths and look for something else to munch on. Then we waddle to our cars and drive home, all the while thinking, "HOLY :poo: I CANT EAT LIKE THAT ANYMORE". Then we lie to ourselves by swearing to "Never do that again".

Again, Happy Thanksgiving to all. See you on the boards ... after I survive my food coma!

So let me start by thanking Ray and Adrian for their friendship. Almost 5 years ago, we 3 were mutual members of another guitar forum. We became online guitar buddies and agreed that there could be a way to have a great place to hang out and talk amongst other gear heads on a forum, run the way we would like to see a forum run. Thank you partners!

Secondly I thank all of you members. Without all of you members, this place would be non-existent. Some of you post, some members come just to read posts and see pictures, but as of today 761 of you members have joined our TTR family. Welcome TTR family, welcome and thank you! John Lennon expresses my feelings with these words...

I hope all of you have something to be thankful for!!!

I'm not a founding partner, but I am a founding member. I know I was one of the first 10 or earlier. This place is a second home to me and the friends I've made here are real!

I'm fortunate to have met at least 5 of my forum brothers in person!

I'm happy to see as membership grows, we can all continue to get along and not feud like some other forums!

DAYUM!!! How could I forget to thank our TTR moderators? When we started this place, we selectively chose who we wanted to join and left the riff raff clueless as to our new secret hideout. Our moderators were carefully selected from our founding members and have helped to keep this place in check. Fortunately for us all, the workload to keep this place on track has not been too much to deal with. For the most part there is no flaming, cork sniffing or just plane rudeness. Thank you @Sp8ctre and all off our moderators for helping to keep this place a happy place to be!

BTW, I'm one of those 5 people that have had the good fortune to spend time with Chris in the real world.

I'm a floundering member. That's almost the same thing.
I wanted to wish you all a happy turkey day, wherever you are.

I'm a member of 8 forums, and a mod of one. Not all guitar related.
It is difficult indeed to create and maintain a group of like minded peeps. Then if there are a few miscreants it becomes hard, and sometimes freakin' miserable.
This place is one that has reached "oasis" status (to me), and that is rare.
Take a bow.
