Happy New Year

Happy new year to all of you, and thanks for the old one. I’m back in the kitchen preparing dinner for the family. Salted mutton rib, same as we eat on Christmas eve. Probably my favorite food in the whole world. Simple yet lots of powerful flavors. And it is a good excuse for drinking beer and aquavit!

Happy new year back at everyone. The usual for us tonight. Don’t remember the last time we went out on NY Eve to party. Tonight’s fare looks like some smoked salmon. Summer sausage. Several cheeses including a 15 year old aged cheddar from a mom and pop cheese maker in WI. Some popcorn and a bottle of sparkling wine. If form follows.... bed by 10. We aren’t pups anymore.:cheers::pound-hand:
