I got philosophical the other day. When you’re young you celebrate your birthday because you get older, more adault, the there’s a period when you don’t really bother, it doesn’t make much of a difference whether you’re 25 or 35. Then, you celebrate that you survived another year. Finally, at some point, you get aches and pains and you just celebrate that you’re one year closer to the end.
It’s been a long time since I checked in, I’ve culled the herd and am down to two guitars and two amps, maybe only one soon. I thought this might interest you though: One of my two guitars (the other is the 1977 Strat I’ve had for a long time), a 1973 SG Standard with tarback pickups and ebony fretboard. Refretted with stainless frets and PLEKed before I got it.
And then this amp I got in a trade. A Sheldon True Tone tt3r. A 1-3 watt handwired tube amp. Sounds fantastic. This is the one I’ll keep if I just jeep one. I’ll just mike it up if I ever need it live.
