No blowing stuff up here. Neighbors do enough of that and every boom throws our dog into full on panic mode. Fun part is…… not. It’s been going on for nearly two weeks and will continue into August.

I'm in the mountains Buena Vista, CO on vacation, not a single firecracker all day and up to now. Stage Two Fire Ban up here - can't even shoot my guns darn it. How ever in my home city it usually starts the beginning of June and through July to August. On the 4th itself at night so much gunpowder smoke is in the air its hard to breathe.

I used to do that too. It was like a competition, who had the most and the biggest cannon...(fireworks y'all). One year I had so much left over, two boxes, I just put them out there and lit the boxes on fire. With everyone's safety in mind of course

So I decided with everyone around me doing it I thought I'd save money and watch all the magic well into the morning of the 5th, just not this year cuz y'know Mountains.
