Hangover strategies/rituals

Good Cymbals are hard to find while new ones are pricey too but again the old ones sound better. Probably that old impurities in the metals they used then were not as " pure " as the raw materials are now. Another happy accident like the amps and guitars, I guess. And I always said you have to do it two nights in a row to get the " Full Effect " of imbibing!

I polished off a bottle of E&J Brandy with cranberry juice the night of my Gramp's wake. Apparently during that episode, I chunked all over the table at Chili's, got kicked out, handed my wallet plus ATM pin over to my cousin so he could get more party favors, chunked in my bud's new Explorer - twice, and called dinosaurs (that's what he called hurling) all night long. Bonus was his hot sister was holding my hair back so it didn't get in the toilet the whole time, and I'm pretty sure I touched her boobies. I don't remember any of this, only time I've ever blacked out and lost time like that. I had to clean his Explorer the next day. I just stay away from Brandy now. Ironically, tequila has almost no ill effects for me.

So I got no experience with hangovers beyond that one.

I wish I could say I've only blacked out once....it's been quite some time now, but there once was a time where it would happen pretty frequently lol
 
I can say Ive never blacked out--- (and with second and third generation Welsh and Italian heritage---and a metabolism that would make your head spin--I can DRINK---) --
Ive done some things I probably SHOULDNT have--and got out of more things than I EVER should have, but remember every single one.....

Blink.....Im not sure which is HONESTLY the better of the 2 scenarios ;)
