My three year old Granddaughter always wants to play my $1200 Mandolin. I can't say no to her but I spend the whole time freaked out. It's the most fragile piece of gear I own. I try to steer her to the $10 Yamaha garage sale guitar but no - she wants the little one because it's her size.
I'm thinking a cheap ukulele.$30 Craigslist Hondo Mandolin....Stat!!!
