I was nowhere near there. That mug was given to me by my good friend, J-Mac. J-Mac got it from his oldest son, who has been a career Navyman for the last 15+ years. Been all over the place! I guess J-Mac's son has something to do with the USS Stetham DDG63. Now, J-Mac himself, is a Navy Vet. He's about 62... did the end of Vietnam stuff on the USS Oriskany (CV-34).

And now that it has become obvious.... my wife and I would like to thank you for your service to our country (USA)... :H5::cheers::dood:

I was in '71-79. Thank you and it was my honor to serve.
 
I don't have beer as often as I would like. I did love a beer buzz in the morning. That has not happened in years. I have two ounces of whiskey at bedtime and that is it. A very minor little buzz to help me remember better days. I had a few days off when my son came to visit. I don't have a favorite beer, I been out of the loop for a long time. I left the beer choices up to Dylan and he didn't know but his guesses had the side effects I wanted. Beer and guitars sounds great if you don't intend to play. We have not played guitars in a long time and fun for sure but we really did not make music. Made a hell of a lot of fun.
 
Jeez this thread is making me mighty thirsty! I must have drank every beer posted in this thread before I quit drinking. You can say I was quite the beer taster back in the day.:wink:
