Guitars and BEER!

Just snap a pic with the beer when you're done playing! I'm kind of the same. When I play "seriously" I really can't drink anything. I forget songs and screw up very easily if i drink. I sing too, and I forget lyrics after two bottles of beer...

THAT I can do!
What little skills I have go down the drain. It happened last night. Drank about 1/2 a beer on a break after playing for about an hour.
Went back to noodle a bit, finish up and stow my gear.
I just couldnt do much of anything right; I think it is more the fatigue and not getting enough sleep. Once even a little alcohol hits my brain its just game over.

Man, I'm totally with ya there. Alcohol destroys my fingering ability. I was jamming with a group of guys, who all drank when we practiced. They didn't miss a beat. One beer for me, and any magic I had was gone.

I jam with some guy now, where drinking is a must, just to get past how bad we suck. So I enjoy a six or two. Otherwise, it's not good for my production. After is a different story.

They are too over priced to eat and passing a G blues harp has to be one trip you may not come back from. The tone from this freaky combination bottom burps and a harmonica has got to be a nocturn for devil himself. I don't get drunk but I do that a poop house full of pills. I think it helps my back when I lay flat after passing out. I only take what the my doctor tell me to. That is a fatal dose and back off a wee bit. I don't go out much these days.
 
Its a balance--- i can drink a little --- and it actually helps---sorta like the way i play pool....a few drinks....all good..loosens you up ......gets ya flowin with the rhythm ...a few more ....felts getting ripped..........windows break.........people get hit with pool cues.......and it seems a bit like this

I dig the cream chicken heads on the beige space age corrugated fibrous cellulose enclosure!!
They do not seem to be rated for as many "stomps" as the aluminum, or so I have heard.

Hey my Klein screwdriver set didnt come with a bottle opener!

The Husky ones I got recently did though.
Hmm, tools and guitars are often found together in my lair; beer and guitars, not so much.
I may have commented on that earlier in this thread, but that was, like, last year man.
Still need to get a pic in here......
