I dont even speak to the knuckle dragging retreads at GC ----last time I did I pointed out SEVERAL issues with a Peavey Bass they had--- and the RESPONSE --from the sales person ----who had JUST told me how she had been a pro bassist for 5 years--------and if "you need any questions answered Sir let me know"---
so I asked several -- none of which she knew the answer too-- then I asked several more about the amps-- none of which she knew ANYTHING about because she only ever used a Fender Rumble..................
This is when I decided to never speak to them again-----
ONLY to say -- NO thanks Im good-- and then ignore which ever one was attempting to speak to me ---
usually if they press the issue I say "Im just waiting on my grand son he is using the restroom----I dont know anything about this stuff---I own guns"
They ignore you at that point as your not a "mark" -----though you might be "packing" -----funny the one here in Lakeland has totally different staff people in it almost EVERY time I go in there --except the women who has been a "pro bassist" for 5 years.......but didnt see the the issues I pointed out on the Peavey ---- oh well...

Well with a little assistance from my dear friend AND enabler Adrian, I have ordered the Epi ES-335Pro from AMS. I got it in the Ice Tea burst finish. I talked the sales person into a break on the Epi case for it.
I owned an Epi Sheridan many years ago. If this 335 is half as good as the Sheridan was I will be very happy.
I am suppose to receive the guitar by Friday. I will post pics as soon as it is in hand.

Darn, Chasfred. Believe it or not, I have a ES-less Epi 335 case. I wish I knew you were gonna buy a 335, I could have brought it to Annapolis.

No problemo, Chas, I will mention that you should not be disappointed in the new EPI. I had one of my own plus put a headstock back on a buddy's that he broke off once. Both were sweet players.
