I stopped by my local Guitar Sinner last night (Friday) to pick up strings and straplocks for our lead guitarist's ESP. While there, I bought a brand new Boss GE-7 to use in the FX loop of my DSL40C's as "coloured boost" for solos. These new GE-7's (black box) are much quieter than their predecessors.
While shopping, I head a loud shout and what sounded like back and forth banter between two people. At first, I dismissed this as proablybto people who knew each other goofing around. Then I heard more yelling and people running.
I looked up from a guitar I was fiddling with to see a man running towards the front door with a Les Paul in his hands like a baby. Out the door he went with manager (Travis) in pursuit.
The guy got away with the Gibson Les Paul...
