...if you are still "IN" let me know. PM ME PLEASE! Name and address...

Make sure you understand you will be responsible for PAYING to ship the guitar to the next guy. I know this may cause some people to decide not to play...

The guitar being shipped around is the one here. Pickups have been swapped out for all Epiphones.

This is a 27" scale guitar. If you ever wanted to try one here's your chance.

Tuned up to E standard...

Bend high E at 12th fret...

What brand, type, and gauge (10 - 46?) of strings are on this guitar?

Well I don’t know anything about Agile guitars but it played well. Not sure if the fretboard was a highly polished maple or a composite. The P90s were very respectable.

As for the strings, they were a used set Chris gave me with the guitar, so I’m not sure what gauge or brand.

Well, I'm going to seriously molest this thing...

I strung it up with a set of GHS Boomers... 10-46

I have not plugged it in yet, but will try tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I felt the action was way to high so I dropped the action on the high E at the 12th fret from a bit over 5/64 to a hair under 4/64. I would like to try lowering it some more, but the adjusting screw is maxed out. The only way to lower it now would be by filing the saddle slot. The low E at the 12th was lowered from 6/64 to 5/64. Maybe the 27" scale won't be too friendly if I lower the action any more, but I am more comfortable where it is now.

I am tempted to lower the bridge saddle slot for the G string. The action on the G string is higher than the D strings action.

I raised the stoptail on the low E side till the low E string wasn't touching the back of the bridge.

I lowered the whole bridge P90 pickup, plus the high and low E string pole screws. The low E string was buzzing off the pole piece even before I lowered the action. On the bridge I usually like to see at least 1/16 between the pole and bottom of string. It's still less than that. I'll mess more with this tomorrow, too.

What's with the middle P90? It needs to be lowered, too, but it feels like it's maxed. Pole pieces should not be 1/32" under a string.

Who knows what mischief I will create after I plug this Agile in tomorrow... :hmmm:

BTW... @Sp8ctre: Where these cracks in the finish around the neck joint already on the guitar before it started its "pass around"?

Sysco, the Pups are screwed right into the body, no plates. There are springs and foam under them that can easily be modified to lower them.
Part of the pass around fun...If you do nothing else you get to re-string it! No idea what those were...
I had a lot of fun today jamming on this guitar. But first, I rectified leveling the 3 P90s, and some of the pole pieces to taste:

But... For me to lower the pups to where I believe it should be at a minimum, I had to remove these cute little boogers:

I guess those are there for support. The pups feel fine without them. Don't get mad at me... :hide:

I think the guitar sounds damn good, and I think I improved its playability a bit, too. Comparing this guitar with my '11 SG with Wolfetone P90s, and playing clean tones thru my Chihuahua, the Agile guitar has a more woolier tone to it. Maybe some of that darker tone is due to the Agile's semi-hollowness. The bridge pup still has a pretty good bite without it being harsh. When I injected some dirt into the amp with my Tim overdrive, I could hear some noticeable mud from the pups, and they would not clean up as nicely compared to the SG. But in general, this Agile can rock... :dood:

Then I decided to try the Agile with my modified JCM800 4104 combo. And with the gain level at 6..... SHAZAM!!!!! It's like this guitar was made for this amp. At this point, I was really having a lot of fun with this guitar and getting into a good jamming vibe. Very cool tones. Lots of sustain. Also, the tone cleaned up a little bit better on this amp when backing off on the guitars volume.

The downside of playing this guitar is fretting hand fatigue and some freshman clumsiness because of the 27" scale.

Question on Pickup selector wiring:
Position #1? Bridge
#2: Bridge and Middle?
#3: Middle?
#4: Out Of Phase between Mid and Neck?
#5: Neck

That’s the selector wiring as I saw it, except the #4 was exetremely low output.
