Guitar lead that actually works

Hey, Don...I always use a 50 foot cable, even at my home studio....usually, its a 50 foot into effects and a 10 or 20 foot to the amp or amps...how much capacitence am I adding??? Must be a good bit...sounds thinner on a 6 foot cable...

That's about 1.5nF you are adding. Yup, that's a fair chunk of top cut. Have you thought about a battery powered DI box close to the guitar?

I like the 90 ends on my SG and Schecter (Les Paul style) and straight at the amp...not as good on the strat input jack but works on a hardtail...

Hmmmm most cables are advertised as 29.5 pF/ft...I really like the cut!!!!!

Well, cables that actually put the capacitance specification on the package are often that low. Run-of-the-mill, budget cables often run higher. The only way you'll be able to find out is to get the part number printed on the insulation of the cable, itself, and look it up.
