Guitar hangout

Thanks ChasFred!! So far its working for me. i'm doing more work around the house so she has been good.;)

Godspeed your wife's recovery! And a cool story about the youngsters. Having worked as a teacher for kids aged 12-16 for many years, I know there is hope for mankind (not necessarily because of my teaching, though...).

I used to teach English to this 14 year-old kid who worshipped Randy Rhoads. His band practiced at school, so I got to hear them play "Crazy Train" a couple of times. Very talented guys. Then about a year ago the same kid pops up on the Facebook page of my local music store. He'd just bought a real nice guitar and was absolutely beaming with joy. It made my day seeing that he had kept at it.

Thanks Gahr!! Yes that would make your day! Its an encouragement for us guys to see these kids take up what we wanted to do, and continue on with Rock! Like you say there are those that start, but when you see them still at it some time later WOW!!

Best wishes on the recovery S5. I’ve told the story of my nephew starting to play at age 9. Told my sister if he keeps at it, I’ll get him a guitar for graduation. Well he did and is quite talented, so I gave him my hot roded 98 American STD Strat. It had 3 SD pups, 3 push pulls and a pick guard with a built in tuner. This was about 8 years ago. I just sent him a care package last month of pedals I don’t use anymore.
