Guitar Frequencies:

June of 1980 I ran the sound system for Judas Priest at the Seattle center the guitar amps used back stage
were two early metal face Marshall Super Lead 100 1/2 stack 4 x 12 all the amps on stage were fake
I did not pay attention what effects were used they had a guy back stage switching them on and off
dog meat Dave ran the monitor system back stage I ran the main house system at that show.
same year AC/DC back in black no fake amps way loud that was a good side job the pay was good the fringe benefits
all the girls going through me to get at the bands

I was at the Canyon in Montclair in May 2022, delivering guitars and got to see Yngwie's setup. No fake amps. All were running and are daisy-chained together.

Noisiest live guitar rig???

KWS's Dumbles. I've never heard anything hiss like that setup, but some people appear to become "deafened" by the price tag... :-)

I think Kenny has done well for him self Stevie Ray's band backing him up
his mom told me that when he was seven years old he would sit on Stevie's amps at shows
1992 I let him play with my band I could tell he was going to make the big time he played one of my songs note for note watching me play it once
Ironic we both play 1961 Strats 1960 Les Paul Standards he has 11 Dumble built amps I have 12 Dumble style amps that I built
he has me beat getting signature guitars from the Fender Custom Shop

I think so too. Huge talent. My comment on KWS was confined to his noisy rig.

Growing up with a Mom who worked in country music, ive met everyone in the industry, at one time or another, but for me, it was always just meeting another person. I've never followed anyone as a fan or dropped names.

Do you recall the event at Glen Helen Amphitheater on July 11, 2015 when KWS opened for Van Halen???

It's just across the freeway from my hillside home.

I wouldn't buy anything from FCC these days....

And this guy doesn't even mention the bills of lading for foreign products going into the CC.

Unless its a major artist guitar, like Yngwie, or Phill Collen, these are built from a lot of junk at a premium price.
