Actually Grant, I think you partially missed my point. I have no desire to know, nor to open up any cans of worms without the former members present nor for myself to personally talk about anyone specifically behind closed doors. My point was for whatever reason up to and including rules set up for the greater good of the forum and it's members, some folks are no longer members. It was in no way intended to suggest we change any rules or that others desire to post similar topics/viewpoints as those who are no longer here. To reiterate what I said before, Me as the innocent was spared by my being "out of town" during any of the hullabaloos that transpired. I will keep it that way.
If I remember the "why" I even brought it up reason in my post about missing members, above in addressing the Guitar Center/Fulltone action. In order for me to speak my side of the GC Fulltone BLM, etc etc, events that are unfolding, I was feeling conflicted as to ok am I going to breech the NO Political posts rules, or am I going to express my feelings about the whole Socio, political and immoral agenda's we are now being sold where right is wrong and wrong is right by the press, sports, Hollywood, BLM, Antifa, Socialist/Marxist crowd, or am I just going to shut up and not speak because
A. I would get warned
B. I felt the topic of GC and Fulltone already crossed the politically correct/incorrect line just by being a thread and to add any reaction would be perpetuating something that already violated TTR rules
C. I would not speak as to specifics of the GC vs what Fulltone said or did, without firsthand knowledge thus limiting my intelligently informed viewpoint
D. Basically do as I did and describe the importance of fixing the Macro of the BIG picture issues by passing on the example of a more salient viewpoint from an actual " offended party. " A lifelong BLACK MAN's point of view. To summarize his message, it is not the white vs black thing, the straight vs Tranny, Left vs right, that matter. BUT that the whole nut is rotting, and if the rot is not fixed, the rest won't matter.
In summary as I see it for myself, I believe in teachings such as MLK espoused. In a nutshell, equal rights, respect, and being treated with the Golden Rule. If one acts like a proper human, he deserves every freedom, every right afforded him by not only his maker, but his country and government such as was the intention of the USA founding fathers. Like I said earlier, I am for HUMAN treatment of all humans.
I think I made my point clear enough. Hopefully not too much rambling and beating around the bush.
As for hijacking the GC,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Well, what is done is done. I personally have no horse in either GC or Fulltone's races.
