Grieving and Hope

@iblive , I am so sorry I missed this thread.

I‘m just getting over a severe case of the flu and have barely looked at the forum, so I’m just catching up on things.

Although it’s been a few years, sometimes these things just don’t get “better”.

They say, “Time heals all wounds.” Sometimes, “Time wounds all heals.”

Many condolences to you and your family.

Thanks for taking the time to share your story.
Thank you sir. It really is better. Sitting here at my eldest sons house. Family all together celebrating our Christmas with our kids and grandkids. Got my dog in my lap watching grandkids play. My youngest kid happy and content with his life. So yeah. In this case time did heal the wounds. But one never forgets or truly completely gets over something like that. Still think of her nearly daily. Miss her for sure.

Thank you for bumping this thread. I missed it, too.

@iblive : Your inspiring words, which were extremely well written, really hit me deeply in my soul and I thank you very much for it.

Deep down, we all want to live long and fruitful lives. Our lives and relationships are dictated by the laws of mother nature and the unpredictability of human nature. Fortunately, we have the freedoms and rights to be the best we can be for ourselves and those dearest to us. Your opening post proves that, and I'm so inspired and appreciative that you shared a very real and heartfelt moment for me to read, and for everybody else here at this special forum know as TTR...
