The beads can be installed on the wires inside the guitar.
The beads stop RFI, you select the bead type based on frequency.
The beads come in different mixes, for different frequencies.

This, besides shielding the inside of the guitar...which is basic.

Once I copper shield a guitar, that's it. Noise is eliminated. I have had a few Gibson pickups that buzzed no matter how much shielding a guitar had, and I produced a video about this that I shared with Gibson in 2017 regarding a persistent and abnormal buzz on my 106 Gibson Les Paul 50's Tribute. Going through Gibson Artist Relations, I was able to get the guitar sent back to Gibson for an 'autopsy.'

Gibson zoomed me and told me that they found a short inside the bridge pickup that involved only one or two, hair-like strands of wire that were enough to create a short, but still allowed the pickup to function.

@syscokid also had a pair of Gibson humbucker pickups that buzzed no matter what was done to them and I believe they are internally shorted in the windings in exactly the same way.

It takes 2 single coils to cancel hum.
Therefore, a hum canceling single coil is actually a humbucking pickup with 2 coils..
The 2 coils can be stacked, not side by side.
A single coil all by itself cannot be hum canceling.

But like I said they can wire it with the 2 single coils in series to make it hum canceling.
That's the only solution other than
changing PUs, or
Installing a dummy coil inside the guitar to make the single coils cancel hum.

This I understand AM.

Cool thing I learned chasing hums and buzzes in my guitars was that freaking Dimmer Switch. In fact I also wound up replacing the switch as it has another story with it.

When ya get humming guitars using Solid State amps OR 4 holers, or Fender Red Knob The Twin combo's, then the hum goes away, or changes guitars or amps, or unicorns,,,,,,,,, then comes back or only back sometimes and not others, it can really fry your fribble.

It was not a gear issue ( bad ground under bridge post) or bad cavity shielding etc,,,,,,,,,,, but instead, it was IF someone was using the light in the living room below or not.

Of course the radio signal picking up through my 4 hole, is a different story with or without the dimmer.

Essentially
they gave people $100 certificate, that cost Fender $50.
In other words if you want your $100 credit, you have to spend more money and buy another additional product....

But $100 will not cover a set of humbucking pickups....which is what they should have supplied.

It seems to have made some people happy but they didn't get much IMHO.
