Gretsch Guitars

[Session 5]

My favorite Gretsch guitar is the G5135 CVT-PS Patrick Stump Electromatic, Stumpomatic CVT Black with Pewter Stripes.

Yeah, an impressive little instrument at a decent price as well.
I liked the 3 pickup arrangement, but was put off by the stripes.
I believe it can be had in black with silver stripes or silver with black stripes.
Also wanted a Bigsby.
So I did what any good Hackmaster would do, bought a standard G5135CVT and routed it for the middle pickup.

So in a way, mine is now a Stumpomatic with a Bigsby. Or would that be a Hackomatic CVT

By the way, I'm loving this little beastie now.

Plays and feels as good as it looks---Ive fondled it---- it gave me that "I NEEd a Gretsch" feeling....then the Hawk came along and well........

Things Gretsch.

My wife loves her Steel body resonator Honey Dipper.

She loves but doesn't play her White Falcon so said I can put my name on it
It's too fancy for her rough and tumble attitude toward guitars.

I'm LOVING but still finding my way with my Jet Firebird.

I'm sure before I finish I'll have a few more guitars by Gretsch, so many different guitars, so little money :-(

Don't want to have to push a Chevy I don't want to drive a Ford, and don't want to hitch a ride back to town for service on a Dodge, That's why I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe.
