Greetings fellow tone lovers!

Recliners, recliners. Reclining leather chairs, electric reclining leather sofas... my wife and I have outfitted our house with nothing but! Woo Hoo... one of the greatest joys of old age: recliners! Our dogs love them too.
One of my dogs ATE our last sofa/recliner.........we have pvc patio furniture now---- but 2 of the chairs RECLINE!!!! BUWAHAHAHAHAHA

Welcome! Beautiful guitars. I appreciate your fondness for mods! There is a lot of that around here!

Oh MAN... I'm a MOD MACHINE! None of my guitars seem immune from me finding SOMETHING that would make it more to my liking!

Most of this modding activity started when I began putting together my own Teles a few years ago... now, no more off the rack Teles for me - assemble them all from separate components so that every last piece is JUST what the doctor ordered for me.

Trouble is, I'll see a Tele body that I really like and I'll snag it.

Then, of course, it's going to need a neck.

And, some pickups.

And, new electronics to match the pickups.

And a bridge.

...and, and, and... before you know it, I've got ANOTHER Tele! (I think I'm at 14 Teles now - JEEZ.)

DHart,
You say you’ve been a Strat player.

Post up some shots of your Strattykasters!

smitty_p... it all started back in the early 1970's! I still have one of those seventies guitars, from back in the day, a 1976 blonde hard tail. All original, except for the original Shaller tuners I put on it back in... 1976.

And my most recent one - I wanted to create something quite different from my other Strats. It's modeled after Fender's "Triple Tele" model (I have one of those too) which features three Tele Bridge pickups!

I'd better leave it at that - too many photos and guitars to put into this thread.
