Great Amp Info Page

Good stuff... Entertaining as well.

I had a site like this for guitars also but seem to have filed it in the wrong folder. Once I find it I will share it also.
I found this getting ready to build a Deluxe Reverb chassis. I have a DR cabinet with a 15" Orange frame Fender/JBL speaker. I just need the guts.
I have been ordering parts all week

Great platform, especially with the 15.
I'm thinking about shoehorning a 15 into my Alchemist cabinet. Just enough room.
Why? Just for fun and because I can...

When I had my old DR amp I would swap the chassis back and forth between cabinets. I sold it though because someone offered me too much $$$. it was a 67 BF.
I am sure the one I build will sound as good if not better.

Why? Just for fun and because I can...

That is the BEST reason.

oh yeah! Rob is a regular over at the TDPRI tube amp forums.
I learned a lot from him and those guys.
I did the switchable NFB and have plans for some of his other mods on my 5E3 build.

I'm chomping at the bit to build again and it may be his Micro Bassman or something 1-2w that you can really crank up at home.
Even the 4-5w 5f1/5f2a (tweed champ with princeton tone control and some other goodies) build at 4-5 w is too loud for the basement with anyone at home.
And thats with a less efficient Weber 8" signature ceramic speaker.

Ahh the smell of lead core solder in the morning; smells like:
Victory!
