Got to Wait!

Just beautiful! Firebirds are very special guitars.

Question: any idea when they changed the headstock? My 2016 has the Steinberger tuners and the bi-level headstock and I thought they were still doing them this way other than changing the tuners (the black plastics are Creamtone not original)

You've got a total beauty there yourself brother. Are your tuners like the banjo type? Even though I love the white guard, I must admit that it looks really cool in black.

When you can afford it, keep an eye out. I love the white ones with banjo tuners as well, like the one Johnny Winter has on the album cover "Captured Live."

They're actually Steinbergers, not banjos. TCE63's above has them too, and also the stepped headstock like mine.

Weird little suckers with some insane gear ratio like 24:1 or something like that. Once you get used to them they are pretty cool but I'd honestly rather have the banjos.

My Firebird I has regular old Grovers, which I also prefer.
