Got the New Cab Done...

DUDE thats some photoshop extraordinare!!!!
Not really. It was a simple isolation of the area, and then darkened it but tried to keep it transparent. Unfortunately it darkened the grill cloth too. I wish I knew how to make the baffle board look darker without affecting the grill cloth. I'm thinking that cool grill cloth would pop a bit more if the baffle board was as dark as the speaker.

Flat black spray paint takes care of the baffle board.

The Polks are 1978 RTA12 models. The serial numbers are in the 600s. I've recapped one of them with Solen fast caps as the tweeter didn't work. Just need to get around to doing the other. They sound pretty glorious.

ya'll have fun with that --- ive solved the problem by running all my guitar heads through a vintage 12" Peavey speaker.....Im good-- ;)
But -- again-- ya'll have fun with all that.

My "foray" into the guitar AMP/APP rabbit hole this morning reminded me why ---- I prefer to avoid "all that:"

I've been able to sell enough gear I no longer need to buy 4 or 5 more Kempers. Amps...gone, Pedals...gone, multiple 12" speakers...gone!

Down to 3 guitars as well except a couple husks and a Chibson. That will all be going too as well as one more $$$ guitar.

I'm playing Lean and Mean!

Nice Chris! So how do you like the Klones?

I'll let you know tomorrow...the lacquer is drying on the cab. It's plenty dry enough to bring in the house, but the smell is still overpowering...and it makes my wife
feel sick and dizzy...I should be able to play through them for a short while and then back to the garage...

Holy $hite! The Kemper Kones are Amazing! They sound so sweet and full bodied! And I discovered Kemper has built Speaker Imprints into the
latest Firmware Update! Now I have 1000's of amp choices and I can tailor my sound even further by changing speakers! No $hit they sound
very realistic to the original speakers (the one I know).

Right now there are 19 Imprints. See Chart Below and then watch Tone Junkie go crazy in the attached video!
